Okay guys, you can now browse through a very limited slice of the playlist on the Autoplayer!

Bear in mind, that this function is not yet complete, but it's getting there in little bits and pieces. I still need to come up with a way to do searches and jumps through the list. However, there is finally something there! :)

So this place has been kicking around for awhile off and on, and I'm really quite pleased with how things have developed. The pace hasn't been as quick as I would have liked it to be, but that's neither here nor there.

The biggest things to look forward to are going to be (finally) some sort of interface to the autoplayer for request automation and the like. There are a few IceCast developments which I'm working on as well, but those are mostly under the hood.

Secondarily, I've got a new forum category lined up, "Live Slices". Pretty much, this is where the forums for the live shows and DJs are going to live. Quite frankly, I don't expect there to be too many forums here, but there will be a couple.

There is no IRC. I'm not sure where I really want to go with it.

I've got something very rudimentary online, and then I was reminded why I wrote the module in the first place.

Fortunately, most of the serious legwork has already been done for the administrative interface. I just need to build some of the functionality onto it.

I've got the Motorola Droid, which runs the android system on it. I've tried StreamFurious, and it just stalls out whenever I try to play PF. I tried the ogg and AAC stream. no luck.

The streams are up a bit earlier than I was thinking they would be, so here they are for your pleasure:

Please be sure to pick the best next-generation codec for you. Please be aware there are no plans to support MP3 as a streaming format due to its terrible inefficiency.

iTunes 9 now has native support for AACv2 High Efficiency streams, which has been a long-time coming. This opens up the station to Mac users for the first time w/o having to go through the rigamarole of installing a third-party player.

There are a few changes that need to be made to the streaming infrastructure, but those will be incremental, with any luck.
